In 2022 the Royal Academy of Engineering (RAE) and the Irish Academy of Engineering
(IAE) signed a joint agreement (MoU) to work together on matters of shared interest. One of
the early positive outcomes from this partnership is that applicants from the Republic of
Ireland (ROI) are now eligible along with applicants in NI to compete for the RAE Enterprise
Fellowship programme.
The Academy is pleased to announce that Professor Padraic O’Donoghue FIAE is the new Chair of the Academy West Region.
