1. Move to electric vehicles – Infrastructure requirements

2. Future security of Ireland’s Gas Supply

3. Financing renewable energy – European experience

First meeting of the Standing Committee scheduled for September 14th.
Planning to establish three working groups on Sept 14th to prepare papers in the next 6-12 months:
1. Enterprise
2. Innovation
3. Education.

Working group established to ensure electronic records relating to Ireland’s recent engineering legacy are properly preserved

Meetings planned to brief patrons on Academy activities

Southern Branch meeting scheduled for 25th September 2018

The annual Council Meeting in Belfast has been scheduled for Wednesday 18th October 2018
