On 15th May 2023 a meeting was held by the Infrastructure Standing committee chaired by Tony Smyth.
Several topics were identified for the 2023/4 work plan including the creation of a National Infrastructure body to ensure individual Departmental projects can be assessed and prioritised to ensure maximum benefit for the Country.
At the end of the meeting Mr. Tim Corcoran took over from Tony as chair of this Standing committee. President Tom Leahy warmly congratulated Tony on his active support for the Academy. The new work plan will be announced soon.
