Tom Leahy President of the Irish Academy of Engineering (IAE) attended the 2022
Royal Academy of Engineering (RAE) awards dinner in London as a guest of
Sir Jim McDonald RAE President.
The event celebrated engineering innovation and achievement across the UK. This built on
the 2021 visit of both Presidents to Belfast and Dublin in Autumn 2021 and created an
enduring legacy with the signing of a joint Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
on May 2022 between the IAE and RAE to work together on matters of mutual interest.
