The President, Seamus McKeague FIAE, Immediate past President Tom Leahy FIAE and the Chief Executive, Dr. Gabriel Dennison attended the inaugural Engineering Economy CEO lunch organised by the Royal Academy of Engineering and held in Belfast on 17th October.
The lunch was addressed by Dr. Hayaatum Sillem, CEO of the RAE, by the President of the Royal Academy Prof. Sir Jim McDonald (who made his address remotely due to a fogbound Glasgow Airport) and by the President of the Irish Academy.
Many Fellows of the Irish Academy, the Royal Academy and of both attended the event which was held in the High Victorian splendour of the Belfast Harbour Office located close to where the city’s great shipbuilding heritage first started in the 18th century.
