The Academy visited the Dogpatch Labs in Dublin on 22nd March 2023. Dogpatch Labs is a start-up hub located in the heart of Dublin’s Digital Docklands. The visit was hosted by Aileen Hayes, Partnerships Director and Sarah Walker, Strategic Engagement Director along with Ian Browne NDRC Managing Director and was attended by President Tom Leahy, Past President Jim Browne, RAE Senior Regional Business Development Manager at the Enterprise Hub in Belfast Gillian Gregg and Chief Executive Gabriel Dennison.
By providing a platform for entrepreneurship and innovation, the Dogpatch mission is to accelerate the development of Ireland’s start-up ecosystem. A tour of this impressive facility was included and will result in future engagement in the coming months.
This visit forms an important part of the joint RAE/IAE 6-year Memorandum of Understanding signed in May 2022 by the RAE/IAE Presidents.
